What tiling is included in my package?
As part of our all-inclusive packages, standard supply and installation of tiling and grout is included. Specific inclusions are as per the below outline:
SQUARE METERAGE RATE: For the Essentials, Plus and Premier Packages the Provisional Cost (PC) Sum for tiling is set at up to $39.95 per square meter. If the actual cost of the selected tiles is less than the allocated PC Sum, no credit or refund will be provided for the difference. Please note that our wholesale costs differ from the recommended retail PC Sum at our nominated tile providers and may not reflect any actual pricing adjustments.
TILE SUPPLIER: Our preferred supplier is National Tiles. Other providers i.e Beaumont Tiles, Gold Coast Tile Mart and The Tile Collective can be considered upon application.
STANDARD TILE SIZE: Included tile sizes for walls and flooring are 300×600, 450×450. Additional costs apply for tiles outside these dimensions i.e 600×600 or subway 100×300.
TILE GROUT: We currently utilise grout from National Tiles. Some optional colours are available – see Mapei colour chart. Depending on colour selected, additional costs may apply.
STANDARD LAYING PATTERN: All three packages include a standard laying pattern of Vertical Stack Straight, Grid and Linear Brick / Horizontal Stack – See Tile Laying Pattern Blog for an example. All other laying patterns including Herringbone, Hexagon, Brick bond will attract additional costs due to increased labour and tile cutting / margin requirements.
TILE HEIGHT: The tile height inclusion varies for each package. Refer to the current Package Guide for an example of each package inclusion. Further information is also included here.
Essentials tile layout includes: • Tile skirt to perimeter of room 200mm high • Half wall tiles behind bath up to 1200mm high • Shower wall tiles up to 2100mm high • Floor tiles • If applicable, separate toilet rooms include a tile skirt to perimeter of room 200mm high and floor tiles.
Plus+ tile layout includes: • Half wall tile to bathroom perimeter up to 1200mm high • Feature tile to shower niche (300mm x 600mm) • Floor tiles • Shower wall tiles up to 2100mm high • If applicable, separate toilet rooms include a tile skirt to perimeter of room 200mm high and floor tiles.
Premier tile layout includes: • Full wall tiles to perimeter of bathroom (up to 2700mm high) • Feature tile to one wall • Feature tile to shower niche (300mm x 600mm) • Floor tiles • If applicable, separate toilet rooms include a tile skirt to perimeter of room 200mm high and floor tiles.
NICHE TILE: The Plus+ and Premier packages include 1x300x600 niche and feature tile. Subject to in-wall structures allowing this to be installed.
FEATURE WALL: The Premier package includes 1 x Feature Wall with a standard laying pattern (Vertical Stack Straight, Grid and Linear Brick / Horizontal Stack). Tile size options for feature wall: 300×600, 450×450 or 100×300.
All other inclusions, tile sizes or laying patterns will incur additional costing. All additional pricing is POA.

How much does a Colour Consultation cost?
For many people looking to embark on their renovation journey, the colour and product selection process can be a daunting task. If this sounds like you, Capital Bathrooms offer a personalised Colour Consultation at our main supplier showrooms in Biggera Waters (Gold Coast). The cost of this service is $185 inc GST and will be credited off your bathroom contract should you proceed with your renovation with us.

Do you outsource any of your work?
At Capital Bathrooms we have a team of inhouse licensed and highly qualified builders, plumbers, and electricians available to deliver your bathroom renovation. We utilise a purposely selected professionals to support us with services like cabinetry and glass installation. At Capital Bathrooms we only use trusted providers who share our passion for quality construction and customer satisfaction.
Are you fully insured and appropriately licensed?
We are fully insured for all the work we undertake and are happy to provide you evidence that our insurance is current and up to date. Our QBCC License Number is QBCC 15117078.

How do you minimise the dust and mess created by the renovation work?
Our team are dedicated to working in a clean environment and aim to leave your home in a clean and tidy state at the end of each working day. We make appropriate use of protective drop sheets and plastic sheeting to minimise any dust or construction product effecting your home.
Should a job require additional measures, Capital Bathrooms can utilise additional plastic sheeting protection or industrial extraction fans to collect dust effectively. These requirements can all be discussed prior to starting your renovation project.
How much does a full bathroom renovation cost?
To answer this question accurately we always recommend completing a complimentary onsite inspection and having an initial consultation with you to gain a better understanding of what you are looking for.
At Capital Bathrooms we offer a range of bathrooms to suit most budgets. The size of the bathroom and the bathware selections you make all have an impact on your final quotation.
How Do I Qualify for the Limited Time $500 Off Bathroom Renovation?
To qualify for the $500 discount on your bathroom renovation, please ensure the following:
- One Discount Per Address: Each address is eligible for one $500 discount only.
- Mention at Quotation Request: You must mention the $500 discount when requesting your quotation. Any requests for the discount made after the contract is signed will not be accepted.
- Not Combinable with Other Offers: This discount cannot be combined with any other promotions or discounts.
- Subject to Change: The $500 discount offer may be withdrawn or amended at any time at the discretion of Capital Bathrooms.

Can you renovate other rooms, like my laundry?
Absolutely, we offer a range of other services, including laundry renovations or property maintenance. While we consider ourselves to be bathroom specialists, we have a fully qualified and licensed team available to take on any general building work you may request. Our team includes all trades.

Do you offer a warranty?
We are proud of the quality of the products and services that we offer. At Capital Bathrooms we only use quality tradespeople that have been tried and tested and all of our trades are hand-picked because of their commitment to delivering excellence in alignment with our values.
By choosing us, you will receive a 6-year warranty on all Capital Bathrooms’ workmanship PLUS the standard manufacturer’s guarantee on all fixtures, fittings and materials used in your renovation. We also provide a 6-year waterproofing guarantee for labour and materials per the manufacturer specifications.

Is asbestos a problem?
If you’re unsure whether the property contains asbestos or not, or if we think it may have asbestos, we will require a sample to be tested for confirmation of what the substance is.
If the report confirms you’re home contains asbestos we’ll inform you immediately, and will support you to a qualified asbestos remover to have the product removed from your home. All asbestos removal must be completed in accordance with the specified Government compliance, regulations and safety standards.
How long will my renovation take?
A standard size full bathroom renovation will usually take about 3 to 5 weeks depending on the finished required and structural elements needed. This is primarily due to the strict drying times needed to comply with Australian Standards and the ordering of custom products. We know how keen you’ll be to have your brand new bathroom ready to use, but please keep in mind you can’t always rush a good thing.
When we present you with our fixed price proposal we’ll also include an estimated timeline of how long your bathroom renovation will take.
